The simulation loads and Mint is immediately curious, darting here and there about the workshop but finding no one else around. No one but his Admin and himself. "When do people start making video games like this?" he said wit ha small laugh as he idly picked up a small tool and then put it back down. [break][break]

"I say we help fix it? You?" he asked looking over the abandoned project. Technology of their own region repurposed for something else. He wonders what, playing around with the jail broken pokegear.

He looks where directed, nodding to the Admin before picking up some tools. He's not the most adept at tinkering, but this seems simple enough a puzzle to figure out. After sticking back in a few pieces the pokegear whirrs to life, and he grins hearing a voice come out on it. [break][break]

"Huh? No way? Pre-recorded?" he yelped, nearly drooping the pokegear in the process. He immediately looked to Bee and then to the rest of the room, half expecting Unown to flush out like in his other route with Naomi Sato . But it's fine. Though, he's inclined to believe they are being monitored anyway. [break][break]

He taps the pokegear a bit, tries to dial or check for Maldacena on it. "Is this another riddle? Like in CYBERCHASE? He'd been terrible at those.

"I don't care about the DRK Triad watching us." he said back with a shrug. "The second we started collecting Unown that was a risk right? Or well, it heightened it." As Bee starts to move so does Mint, snatching up the POKEGEAR to take with him. He then jogs after the Admin while pressing some buttons on the device to try to make it talk again.

The scenery changes and he sees the familiar shop from before. Mint uttered a little gasp, pawing for his cellphone and pulling it out to snap photos of Father Winter as he spoke. "It's too real..." he murmured, hoping this Winter season he'd see the smarmy bastard again. That RVL Route wasn't enough. [break][break]

As he reaches out, ready to take on a gamble, he remembered, solemnly, that he'd already taken a bet twice now. "I- I already saw him after we bet. We can attack him." though the puppy dog stare he gave the simulation was a very clear indication he didn't want to. Even so, he drops his ace, and the Abomasnow gets ready to charge at them.

Harboring UNOWN was indeed a risk that ROCKET took, though Barnaby personally thought they toed the line between safety and necessity in that regard.[break][break]

He left this unspoken as the scene changed around them, eventually revealing a familiar alleyway with a familiar man at its end.[break][break]

BARNABY FINCH expected this interaction to be as mundane as the rest, and was thus surprised to see mint frost fervently snapping picture after picture of Father Winter.[break][break]

The simulation appeared unfazed. He continued to flip his coin, waiting on their decision.[break][break]

"Surely we have enough photographic documentation already...?" Barnaby asked after about the tenth pic.[break][break]

He noted the Beast's hesitance to put down his phone and attack, wondering why exactly that was. Interesting.[break][break]

"After you." Barnaby replied, refraining from releasing his own Pokémon. The ABOMASNOW took up almost the entire alley space, leaving little room for others to join the attack.[break][break]

Once the DRK Triad member was cut down he'd ask in a mild, conversational tone, "Do you have a thing for Father Winter, Mint?"

Straciatella lumbers towards Father Winter and slams into the wall, pounding him with WOOD HAMMER to end him quickly. Mint meanwhile looks away, perhaps a bit squeamish before Barnaby speaks up. "I- uhh...maybe?" he said, sheepish for once in front of his Admin. "I think he's a w-weak link. Like Maldacena, he only cares about his own moral code. If you can win his gamble, he'd break protocol." he said, smiling at him before they continued. [break][break]

The taunt echoes and Straciatella jumepd back in horror. A half mangle body began to seamlessly split apart and Mint looked on in horror. His eyes dart around for the cause before part the cadaver and he turns away quickly. "W-what?!" he hadn't really known what had ended up happening at Meteno. Perhaps this was it. [break][break]

He returns his pokemon, a little disturbed before Bee gestured to go forward and he did so. Quickly.

It's set for high tea perhaps? What strikes Mint is less so the table itself but the smiling faces adorning it. The heads of course, a tall woman that resembled him, smiling gently at the rest and then looking up to meet his eyes and offer the same platitude. Next to her, a stern looking, heavy set man with auburn hair. Though tough, he is also smiling. Surrounding them are various well dressed individuals in pastels, and cool toned hair. A chair is empty, and a chorus of voices greet him and beckon him forward. Even a small child, who he's sure he's only seen in the papers. [break][break]

"No-" He feels sick, chills run down his spine s he backs up a couple of steps in confusion. "Enough!" he snapped.
